Frame made of solid natural wood painted white mat acrylic paint matching white bright color of the mat. Frame dimensions 72 by 72 by 4.3 cm. (28 ¹¹/₃₂ by 28 ¹¹/₃₂ by 1 ¹¹/₁₆”) holding all framing components.
Artworks and Canvas
Handmade Limited Editions, oil paint on linen canvass, artworks are 50.6 by 50.6 cm. (19 ⁵⁹/₆₄ by 19 ⁵⁹/₆₄”). Canvas size is 70 by 70 cm. (27 ⁹/₁₆ by 27 ⁹/₁₆) to fit on backing plate and to mat dimensions.
Mat
Mat dimensions are 70 by 70 cm. (27 ⁹/₁₆ by 27 ⁹/₁₆. Mat thickness is 12 ply (~6mm) to increase depths and esthetic appearance of the artwork. Mats are produced from pure 100% cotton, 12 layers buffered by calcium compressed altogether. Mats have zero acidity and due to calcium buffering will maintain brilliant white color over centuries. In mat square aperture (artwork window) is machined having size 50 by 50 cm. (19 ¹¹/₁₆ by 19 ¹¹/₁₆|’).
Backing Plate
Backing plate has dimensions 70 by 70 cm. (27 ⁹/₁₆ by 27 ⁹/₁₆) matching dimensions of artwork canvas, to maintain conservation requirements canvas are stretched on backing plate by zero acidity tapes. Backing plate is fabricated from Pure 100% cotton.
Rigid Foam Plate
This plate has dimensions 70 by 70 cm. (27 ⁹/₁₆ by 27 ⁹/₁₆”). Rigid foam plate has thickness 1cm. to ½ Inch. Inserting rigid foam plate finalists’ assembly of artwork framing.
